Librazhdi under snow, Municipality on full alert: emergencies and OSSH on the ground

Heavy snowfall has covered the entire territory of the Librazhd Municipality, creating difficult weather conditions, especially in the villages of the administrative units of Steblevë, Lunik, Polis and Orenjë. In these areas, the intensity of the precipitation has been higher, occasionally causing difficulties in the circulation of vehicles and the movement of residents.
Despite the situation, the Municipality of Librazhd announces that its structures are continuously engaged in the field to keep the situation under control and to guarantee the safety of citizens. Emergency service teams have intervened in the cleaning of road axes and in the continuous monitoring of the most problematic areas, in order to ensure that the roads remain passable.
At the same time, since last evening, the groups of the Electricity Distribution Operator (OSSH) in Librazhd have been on full alert to identify and repair defects caused by the heavy snow. In most of the territory, the electricity supply has been restored, while work continues intensively even in remote mountainous areas, where interventions are more difficult due to the terrain and limited road access.
The Mayor of Librazhd, Mariglen Disha, announced that the situation remains under control and that all villages in the municipality are being continuously monitored. He called on citizens to cooperate with institutions by reporting any problems or defects found, so that the intervention can be as fast and efficient as possible.
According to the Librazhd Municipality, the teams will continue working without interruption until weather conditions improve and the situation is fully normalized throughout the territory.
