"Librazhdi" Ensemble, winner of the third prize, "Pride of the Nation"

These days, the Folklore Ensemble "Librazhdi" participated in the National Song and Dance Festival "The First Rifle of Freedom", the second edition, which was held in Podujevo, Kosovo.

The good performance at this festival led the Jury to award this ensemble with the Third Prize, with the motivation: "Pride of the Nation".

An excellent performance on the festival stage was also given by two talented dancers from Hotolishti, Xhevat Hysa and Veiz Roci, who, with their elegance, elasticity and mastery, proved that they are worthy heirs of the double dance - the symbol of the Librazhd tradition, also known as the cultural "passport" of this city.

Praise cannot be lacking for the virtuoso instrumentalists – the “masters” of the cyrla and drum: Agron Hasanaj, Shefki Kurti and Rakip Rakipi, who, being in perfect harmony with Xhevat and Veizi, brought a performance that combined professionalism, passion and cultural heritage.

This excellent collaboration, built on experience and love for folk art, was undoubtedly one of the highlights of the festival.
